Jim Cobb Radio

Have you ever found that band who's music made you feel really excited and joyful, but no one else knew about them? They were your little underground secret. You could go see them in a tiny club along with a few other folks who were also "in the know". You'll find your next one on Jim Cobb Radio. Join your host Jim Cobb as he brings you the very best undiscovered talent in the music world.

As powerfully talented as these new acts may be, they're coming into a music industry that is very different than it was even a few years ago. Jim Cobb Radio will focus on shining light on the changes so that you, the listener, and anyone else in the music business can gain a new understanding of how our rapidly changing world is affecting everyone from the artist all the way down to the listener. We'll hear from artists, record labels, managers, venue owners, and ordinary folks like yourself about what music means to them and how their relationship to it is changing whether it be for the better or for the worse.

You can feel really good about tuning in and expanding your musical palette and your understanding of the hurdles we're all encountering in our experience of music. You won't be disappointed.

About Jim Cobb

Your host, Jim Cobb is brand spankin' new to radio, but his experience in music runs deep. First and foremost, Cobb is a guitarist and a performer. He can be seen and heard performing with his piano rock ensemble, Urban Fetch, and with singer/songwriter, Dave Pettigrew.

For five years, Jim created original music for advertising, television and film as an Associate Producer and Audio Engineer at Wildvine Music in New York City, and has also written original scores for several short films. As a producer, Cobb has shifted to producing records, most recently a live record from The Breakfast titled "Live As Is" and he is currently working on the debut full length record from Days of Season.
